I just found a new source of wine and wanted to share that with those readers who enjoy a glass of vino as to my knowledge it is still legal and can be transported across state lines. No taxes are not exempt but in this case shipping is so it is a win win.
Vino Vin is located in Wappinger Falls New York. I have always thought New York might actually be interesting to visit if I ever got off the isle of Manhattan. I know it is more than the Hamptons and the city and I have actually never been to the Hamptons either. I think it should count that I watch the Real Housewives of New York and they go outside of both and they drink wine, a lot of wine. One made money selling a crappy low cal liquor site and another has a Pinot Grigio she pedals. I have never had either and never plan on it. So when I heard of this business that encourages sustainable harvesting I was interested.
I want to disclose that I have never taken payment nor exchange of any product for the endorsement this is just someone trying to do right by people who want to do right.
I looked at many of the wines and not only do they have a great selection the prices are quite reasonable. Good wine does not necessarily mean expensive wine. And to expand one's taste buds one must expand one's horizons. I always say if you don't like it, cook with it and it never goes to waste. The first rule of sustainability is to waste less use less but it doesn't mean drink less.
Drink responsibly should also apply to drinking sustainably. so check out Vino Vin and see if there is something you might like to ring in spring with. Cheers!
